Acceptance of the Terms of Use
SynapseMX, Inc. (referred herein as "SynapseMX", "we" or "us") has licensed the United States Air Force (USAF) the SynapseMX Production Control Platform ("the Platform") under contracts W50S9922P0003 and W50S6P22P0006. The following terms and conditions, together with any documents they expressly incorporate by reference (collectively, these "Terms of Use"), govern your access to and use of the Platform and related technology, including any content, functionality and services offered on or through such Platform.
PLEASE NOTE: The Platform is offered through license to the USAF. All users must accept the Consent Policy upon login, agree to these Terms of Use, and the User Agreement.
By using the Platform or by clicking to accept or agree to the Terms of Use when this option is made available to you, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by this Terms of Use and that you have the authority to be bound by these Terms of Use, on the device belonging to you and/or the company for which you are an employee or agent.
If you do not want to agree to these Terms of Use, User Agreement, or Consent Policy, you are prohibited from accessing or using the Platform. Please send an email to hello@synapsemx.com to delete your account on the SynapseMX Platform.
Intellectual Property
The Platform features and functionality are owned by SynapseMX, its licensors or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. These Terms of Use permit you to use the Platform for your official business use only.
You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store or transmit any of the material on our Platform, except as follows:
- As allowed under the agreed upon software license.
- Your computer or smart phone may temporarily store copies of such materials in memory incidental to your accessing and viewing those materials.
- You may store files that are automatically cached by your web browser for display enhancement purposes.
Except as permitted by prior written agreement by SynapseM, you must not access or use for any non-US Air Force purposes any part of the Platform or any services or materials available through the Platform. If you wish to make any use of the Platform other than that set out in this section, please address your request to: hello@synapsemx.com.
If you print, copy, modify, download or otherwise use or provide any other person with access to any part of the Platform in breach of the Software License, Terms of Use or User Agreement, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made. No right, title or interest in or to the Platform is transferred to you, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved by SynapseMX. Any use of the Platform not expressly permitted by these Terms of Use is a breach of these Terms of Use and may violate copyright, trademark and other laws.
You agree not to use the Platform for any purpose other than as permitted by these terms, including but not limited to using the Platform in any way that infringes upon or otherwise violates the intellectual property rights of any third parties including but not limited to removing, modifying, obscuring or otherwise tampering with any copyright or other proprietary intellectual property notices relating to the Platform or its content. You further agree not to use the Platform to launch any third-party programs or applications, other than those expressly provided for in the Software License. You further agree not to use the Platform for any nefarious, unlawful, threatening, defamatory, libelous, obscene, pornographic or profane purpose, or use the Platform for any purpose that could be said to encourage the same.Subject to any applicable laws and regulations to the contrary, You further agree not to decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise extract and/or manipulate data from the Platform or any portion thereof, including any content thereon, for any purpose,unless expressly permitted as part of your permissions and roles.
You understand that the Platform is controlled using permissions and roles that are unique to each user account, based on your organization and affiliation with the government. It is your responsibility to ensure that your account has all of the permissions you should have, and not any permissions which you should not have. It is also your responsibility to update us if, for any reason, your permissions or roles should be adjusted. For example, your access should be removed if you are no longer entitled to ‘government maintainer’ access.
The requirements above are intended so that SynapseMX can fulfill its intended purpose of restricting access to sensitive information and making it available only to those users who are entitled to have access to it. In order to fulfill this purpose, SynapseMX relies on several factors outside of its control, including the cooperation of its users. Accordingly, SynapseMX cannot fully guarantee that will fully meet its intended purpose at all times. You agree to hold SynapseMX harmless in this regard.
The 'SynapseMX' name, and all related names, logos, and service names, designs and slogans are trademarks of SynapseMX, Inc. or its affiliates or licensors. You must not use such marks without the prior written permission of SynapseMX. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs and slogans on the Platform are the trademarks of their respective owners. By registering for an account on the SynapseMX Platform, you are agreeing that your Platform-published company/organization details, to include name, logos, aircraft overview card image, etc., may be used by SynapseMX for marketing and promotion.
Security
You agree not to share your login credentials with anyone else and to take the appropriate precautions to make sure your login credentials do not become known to anyone else. You further agree to inform SynapseMX immediately if you suspect or discover that your login credentials have been compromised. Please contact us at hello@synapsemx.com. Similarly, you agree to keep confidential any information you gain access to using the Platform and to inform SynapseMX immediately if you suspect or discover that such confidential information has been improperly disseminated or shared with others.
You agree not to knowingly link any application to the Platform or upload any content to the Platform that is malicious, such as content that may be infected with malware, ransomware, or other similar programs, or cause the Platform to become more vulnerable to the same. You further agree to alert SynapseMX immediately at hello@synapsemx.com if you suspect or discover that any linked application or content loaded by you or your organization or caused to be loaded by you or your organization is malicious or likely to be malicious.
