Position Overview

As a Full-Stack Developer (W-2) at SynapseMX, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining mission-critical applications for our aerospace and defense projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy scalable software solutions that meet the highest performance, reliability, and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust front-end and back-end solutions using JavaScript technologies such as Feathers and EmberJS.
• Collaborate with software engineers, system architects, and other stakeholders to understand and translate project requirements into technical specifications.
• Implement secure coding practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality software products that meet project deadlines.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve software development processes and techniques.

Requirements

• Legally able to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Proven experience (6+ years) as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with database systems such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Experience with AWS offerings (ECS, ECR, EC2, S3, Cognito, ELB, SNS, SES, Elasticache).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative mindset to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise software applications or complex systems.
• Prior experience or interest in the aerospace and defense industry is a plus.
• Prior U.S. Air Force experience is a plus.
• GA or NY-based candidates are preferred, but not required.
